Museum has only small collection of contemporary painting.  Paintings of the renowned artists like Ram Kumar, Swaminathan, Sheila Brunner, Nilima Shekh, Banni Prasano, Krishan Khana, Vivon Sundram, Sarbjeet Singh, Malkiyat Singh, D.K. Chopra, Him Chaterjee , Surjeet Singh, Samuel Masih, Sukh Das, Prabhinder Lal form the part of collection in addition to some other national and regional artists
